The Ukrainian National Cybersecurity Team is beginning training for the European Cybersecurity Challenge 2025 international competition.For the first time, the team formed based on the results of the Ukrainian Championship will train at the Unit Range cyber range. This is a powerful technological platform that will provide conditions for high-quality simulations – from basic cyberhygiene training to high-level simulations of team competitions in Jeopardy and Attack/Defense formats.

The scientific work of the ICTIP is closely tied to presenting developments on the international scene. Every year, our scientists take part in specialized conferences and seminars, presenting their research both in Ukraine and internationally.

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the ICTIP and the National Scientific Center «Ноn. Prof. М.S. Bokarius Forensic Science Institute». This is a crucial step in the joint development of forensic expertise and science within our institutions.

With the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, certified training courses were held in mid-September by Expertise France Groupe AFD under the training program "Expertise France: Advanced Incident Response, Network-Based Threat Hunting and Digital Forensics".

State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection (ICTIP) has gained access to the international abstract and citation database Scopus via Research4Life, opening up new opportunities for the institute's researchers.

A meeting between the management of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and the State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection (ICTIP) was held at the university.In his speech at the meeting, Volodymyr Bugrov, Rector of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, emphasized that the development of a system for training, certification, and accreditation of cybersecurity specialists is a relevant and important issue that requires immediate organizational and legal actions by all levels of executive power and society. This issue is particularly relevant in times of external aggression.

On September 4th, Tetiana Kahanovska, Rector of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, and Volodymyr Pavlikov, Head of the State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection (ICTIP), signed a Memorandum on Cooperation and Collaboration in the Field of Professional Standardization and Personnel Certification. In particular, the Memorandum aims to develop and implement a unified personnel system in the field of cybersecurity and information protection in Ukraine.

The issue of developing the architecture of the national cybersecurity system and protecting objects of critical infrastructure is a relevant and important task that requires immediate practical, organizational and legal actions from all branches of executive power and society as a whole.

The State Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies, with the support of the State Special Communications Administration, is holding a scientific and practical conference: "Implementation of new approaches to creating information protection systems and their evaluation in information and communication systems."

The State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection (the Institute), operating under the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine (SSSCIP), has become a member of the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO). This marks an important step in strengthening Ukraine's international cooperation in cybersecurity and digital resilience.
