This was the focus of the GOVSATCOM 2026 international conference in Luxembourg, during which employees of the State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection (ICTIP) joined a professional dialogue on the development of secure satellite communication systems.

In February, the Kyiv International Cyber Resilience Forum 2026 was held, focusing on the dynamics of threat transformation, countering hybrid influences, and the role of social networks in contemporary conflicts. The State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection (ICTIP) recently held a strategic planning session dedicated to the institution's development over the next three years. The new strategy aims to transform the Institute into a leading scientific hub that ensures the development of state standards in the field of information security. The priority area is the development and strengthening of scientific schools. The Institute will combine the experience of industry veterans with the potential of young researchers in order to create world-class expertise.

Specialists from the State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection (ICTIP) have analyzed European Commission initiatives aimed at strengthening resilience against hybrid threats. Drawing from the updated NIS2 Directive and European security standards, they have prepared a report outlining specific proposals for amending national legislation.

Artificial intelligence technologies are developing rapidly and increasing digital security requirements. In response to these challenges, specialists at the State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection (ICTIP) are improving their professional skills and implementing modern approaches to their work. To this end, specialists completed training on artificial intelligence technologies and large language models at the Cyber Training Center of the State Cyber Protection Center of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine.

State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection (ICTIP) ensures the implementation of a memorandum of cooperation with higher education institutions and other stakeholders in the field of cybersecurity. Work is focused on the formation of a sustainable system of professional standardization, training, and certification of personnel with the support and advisory control of the Information Technology and Cyber Security Qualification Center, whichoperates as part of the ICTIP.
