On December 5, State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection (ICTIP), together with leading government and scientific institutions, held an All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference. The event was devoted to discussing current issues of conducting scientific, technical, and forensic expertise in the field of fighting criminal offenses in wartime. The conference, held at the Kyiv branch of the National Scientific Center “Ноn. Prof. М.S. Bokarius Forensic Science Institute”, brought together scientists, forensic experts, teachers, officers, law enforcement officials, and security forces of Ukraine. Participants discussed the specifics of examining methods and means of committing crimes during wartime and exchanged practical experience and best practices.
ICTIP`s scientist was awarded the 2025 Boris Paton National Prize of Ukraine
The chief research scientist of the State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection (ICTIP) has been awarded the 2025 Boris Paton National Prize of Ukraine. The state award was granted in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 861/2025 in recognition of his work “Assessment and Optimisation of Security Risks for Critical Infrastructure”.

On 25 November, the Information Technology and Cyber Security Qualification Center of the State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection (ICTIP), which forms part of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, participated in the 6th International Forum “2025 Human Capital in the Focus of Transformations”. During the forum, the Qualification Center was awarded the Human Capital Award in the "Qualification Center Accredited for the Largest Number of Professional Qualifications in the Security and Defence Sector" category.
Cybersecurity in business: new challenges and EU requirements
As part of Ukraine's annual Cybersecurity Month, a two-day event “Cybersecurity: New Trends and Challenges for Ukrainian Companies, with a Focus on the Entry into Force of New EU Legislation” was held.Organised by the Kyiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with the Kyiv City State Administration, the event addressed the current challenges businesses face in cyber protection. Speakers included representatives from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, and the Cyber Police Department, as well as international partners and leading industry experts from Cisco, ESET, Asters, and CoreWin.
