The State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection (the Institute), operating under the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine (SSSCIP), has become a member of the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO). This marks an important step in strengthening Ukraine's international cooperation in cybersecurity and digital resilience.

ECSO is a leading European organization that brings together representatives of the public sector, business and academia to promote the development and strengthening of cybersecurity in Europe. The organization actively works on developing strategies, exchanging information, and supporting cybersecurity innovation.

The ECSO membership opens up new opportunities for the Institute to participate in international projects, exchange experience with leading experts and gain access to advanced technologies. The Ukrainian side is interested in active participation in the work of ECSO, including the working groups on:

• Trusted Supply Chains: creating reliable supply chains to strengthen Europe's digital resilience, considering market needs, best practices, and challenges.
• Skills & Human Factors – developing competencies and cybersecurity education, and ensuring access to training and employment in the cybersecurity field.
• Technologies & Innovation and Defence & Space – supporting innovation in cyber defense, Europe's digital autonomy, and a secure digital transition for industry and society.
• Cyber ​​Threat Management – ​​creating a trusting environment for cybersecurity practitioners and end-users to exchange information, experiences, and best practices.

Joining ECSO opens new avenues for Ukraine's international cooperation, experience sharing, and implementation of cybersecurity best practices. The Institute is confident that its membership in ESCO will contribute to strengthening Ukraine's cybersecurity posture and facilitate its integration into the European cybersecurity landscape.
