The Institute team won the TIDE Hackathon 2021 competition. Thanks to this, team members Nazar Kalyan and Maksym Ryabenko were invited by the TIDE Hackathon coordinator to participate in the TIDE SPRINT #38 2021 conference.TIDE Sprint (Think-Tank for Information Decision and Execution Sprint) is one of the main activities of the Allied Command Transformation (ACT) and NATO think tanks to promote innovation and rapid development of concepts and specifications in order to progress, improve and federate cooperation between NATO , Command and Control (C2) and IT partner countries. TIDE Sprint events are typically held twice a year, each spring in Europe and each fall in the United States. The TIDE Sprint brings together operators, managers, industry and academics to share and explore ideas to help the Alliance and partner countries adapt to technological change.

The testing laboratory of the State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection successfully passed re-accreditation at the NATIONAL ACCREDITATION AGENCY OF UKRAINE and received an ACCREDITATION CERTIFICATE in accordance with the requirements of DSTU EN ISO/IEC 17025:2019 (EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017, IDT/IEC 1750; ISO/IEC 1750 ; 2017, IDT) in the field: product testing for compliance with cryptographic and technical information protection requirements.

State Research Institute of Cyber Security and Information Protection Technologies (State Research Institute of Cyber Security Technologies) is a leading research institution in the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine (State Special Communications and Information Protection Service), based on the state form of ownership, included in the structure of State Special Communications, subordinated and controlled by the State Special Communications Administration.

State Research Institute of Cyber Security Technologies:
  • is a budget institution and does not aim to make a profit;
  • carries out research, development, production and implementation of means of cryptographic and technical protection of information, telecommunication equipment for special information and telecommunication systems;

The State Research Institute of Cyber Security Technologies passed the state certification of scientific institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine
In the second half of 2020, the State Research Institute of Cyber Security Technologies and Information Protection of the State Special Communications Service underwent state certification of scientific institutions. According to its results, the State Research Institute of Cyber Security Technologies established a classification rating for scientific potential and achievements over the previous three years – 3.26; and the rating of the expert group is 3.85. On this basis, the State Research and Development Institute of Cyber Security Technologies was assigned to the II classification group for a period of 3 years.
