On 25 November, the Information Technology and Cyber Security Qualification Center of the State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection (ICTIP), which forms part of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, participated in the 6th International Forum “2025 Human Capital in the Focus of Transformations”. During the forum, the Qualification Center was awarded the Human Capital Award in the "Qualification Center Accredited for the Largest Number of Professional Qualifications in the Security and Defence Sector" category.

Organized by the National Qualifications Agency with the support of international partners, including the EU, Germany, Poland, Estonia, and Denmark, the international forum is one of the largest platforms for professional discussions on human capital development, education, and qualification systems.

During the event, the Qualification Center showcased the practical application of qualifications, presenting assessment elements and delivering masterclasses to interested attendees. This gave forum participants the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the process of confirming the competence of cybersecurity specialists.

Oleksandr Yudin, Scientific Secretary of ICTIP, presented the activities of the Qualification Center and noted: “The effective development of cybersecurity depends on the training of specialists, so the Qualification Center's participation in the forum demonstrates our capabilities and makes an important contribution to the development of the National Qualifications System.”

Participation in the forum enhances the transparency and quality of training. Introducing clear and objective qualification standards in cybersecurity ensures that public and private entities receive specialists with proven practical skills capable of protecting critical infrastructure. Such standards strengthen confidence in professional qualifications, set high standards for educational institutions, and encourage programmes to be updated in line with current cyber challenges.
