Scientists from ICTIP took part in the discussion at the Blockchain Forensic Forum
On November 7, the Blockchain Forensic Forum took place. This scientific and practical forum was dedicated to forensic examination in the field of blockchain technologies.
Organised by the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, the event was supported by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute". Forum brought together experts in criminology, digital security, law, and economics, including representatives of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, scientists from
leading universities and research institutes, international experts, and practicing lawyers.
During the discussions, mechanisms for interaction and expert support for law enforcement agencies in cases related to blockchain technology were explored, alongside approaches to identifying and analysing data in cryptographic networks.
A research fellow from State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection (ICTIP) presented his work on cyber incident analysis and the use of cryptographic methods for verifying and identifying digital data at the forum.
Volodymyr Pavlikov, Head of ICTIP, also participated in the panel discussion. He emphasised the importance of unifying approaches to digital data processing and fostering effective collaboration between expert institutions and law enforcement agencies.
The participation of ICTIP in such events contributes to the development of interdepartmental scientific and expert cooperation, the exchange of experience, and the implementation of modern approaches to ensuring cyber resilience and forensic examination of digital data.
