On 15 September, a delegation from the State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection (ICTIP) visited the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy in Varna, Bulgaria.

During the meeting, Volodymyr Pavlikov, the head of ICTIP, and Flotilla Admiral Kalin Kalinov, the head of the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy, discussed current approaches to training specialists, the development of educational programmes, and opportunities for further scientific and educational cooperation. Based on the results of the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Institutions was signed.

During the visit, the ICTIP’s representatives familiarised themselves with the work of the Department of Electronics and its educational and technical facilities. They visited the renovated “Azimov” lecture hall, where they were presented with modern approaches to training specialists in maritime communication and information systems, computer technologies, and their application to ensure navigation safety.

Signing the memorandum creates additional opportunities for exchanging professional experience, developing joint scientific and educational initiatives, and deepening international cooperation. For the ICTIP, such interaction is an important means of integrating Ukrainian scientific expertise into the European professional and educational landscape.
