ICTIP and Rohde & Schwarz are building up cooperation capabilities in the field of technical protection of information
State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection (ICTIP) held a working meeting with officials from Rohde & Schwarz, a global leader in high-precision test and measurement equipment and IT security.
During the meeting, issues related to the development of modern control and measurement technologies were discussed. Participants discussed the use of software and hardware for protecting IT networks and systems, as well as cryptographic solutions approved for processing classified information. Particular attention was paid to adapting information protection systems to European standards, particularly in the area of countering information leaks via electromagnetic radiation.
The participants analyzed the technical capabilities of operating in different frequency ranges, modern approaches to creating anechoic chambers, and their prospective use for high-precision testing.
Rohde & Schwarz officials shared their ideas on potential international aid and grant programs to support the development of the domestic scientific base. They provided analytical materials on the latest industry trends to help the ICTIP adopt the world's best practices.
The development of the partnership would help improve the quality of testing of equipment for protecting state information resources and special communications, reduce technological risks, and strengthen Ukraine's cyber and radio-electronic defense.
