ICTIP and ICI Bucharest expand cooperation in the field of information security
On March 10, during the DIGITAL INNOVATION SUMMIT BUCHAREST international forum, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest and the State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection (ICTIP).
The cooperation includes joint work on cybersecurity policies and strategies. It also involves developing cyber diplomacy, implementing blockchain technologies, and protecting cloud services. Special focus is given to Internet of Things security. The use of artificial and augmented intelligence technologies is prioritized. The partnership also covers top-level domain administration.
The document was signed as part of the implementation of the provisions of the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Security between Ukraine and Romania of July 11, 2024. The signing took place with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in Romania and Stefan Radu Opri, Secretary General of the Romanian Government.
Further cooperation will involve the exchange of experience, the implementation of joint initiatives, and the development of partnerships in the field of information security.
