
Development of a Roadmap for a system of training centers for cybersecurity and information security specialists
On September 4th, Tetiana Kahanovska, Rector of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, and Volodymyr Pavlikov, Head of the State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection (ICTIP), signed a Memorandum on Cooperation and Collaboration in the Field of Professional Standardization and Personnel Certification. In particular, the Memorandum aims to develop and implement a unified personnel system in the field of cybersecurity and information protection in Ukraine.
At the official meeting, Oleksandr Yudin, ICTIP Scientific Secretary, reported on current issues related to training, certification, and attestation of personnel in accordance with the requirements of the global labor market and best practices for training specialists in the field of cybersecurity.
As part of the cooperation, it is planned to open a Training center at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University to provide high-quality training for future specialists, develop modern training programs, and offer opportunities for professional certification. All this will take place with the support and advisory supervision of the Information Technologies and Cyber Security Qualification Center, operating as part of the ICTIP.
This initiative is part of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine program to establish regional training centers across Ukraine, helping to develop highly qualified personnel, strengthen the country's resilience, and build the state’s capacity in the field of cybersecurity of information resources and critical infrastructure sectors.
