On October 16th, a Memorandum of Cooperation and Engagement was signed between Korolyov Zhytomyr Military Institute and State Scientific and Research Institute of Cybersecurity Technologies and Information Protection (ICTIP).

The memorandum, signed by the head of the Korolyov Zhytomyr Military Institute, Andrii Sliusarenko, and the head of ICTIP, Volodymyr Pavlikov, lays the foundation for scientific cooperation. The key objective of the memorandum is to increase the effectiveness of scientific research and provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine and critical infrastructure with highly qualified personnel in the field of cyber defense.

The cooperation will focus on combining the efforts of two key institutions to accelerate innovation and implement global best practices for co-development in several priority fields.

This cooperation will allow institutions to exchange scientific and informational resources, involve cadets and researchers in collaborative projects and laboratory research, which will have a direct impact on the quality of training of future cyberspecialists.

The combination of the ICTIP's scientific potential and the personnel of the Korolyov Zhytomyr Military Institute will increase the resilience of national information systems to cyberattacks and help reduce the shortage of highly qualified engineering and scientific personnel in the defense and cybersecurity sectors.
